A dozen county schools recognized for being ‘Hunger-Free’
Wilson was joined by representatives of the Maryland State Department of Education and the Maryland Center on Economic Policy, who provided brief remarks before presenting a “Hunger-Free” school award and banner to Principal Tom Garner in recognition of the school’s commitment to providing good nutrition to all students, regardless of their family’s economic situation.
